Before we can begin assembly, we need to cut a couple of wedges for the toolbox handle. You can cut the wedges out of any stock that is at least 1-1/4" thick.

Using your band saw, cut a wedge out of one side of the stock you choose. The wedge should end up about two inches long, and about 1/4" thick at the thickest end. The wedges should look as they do in the image on this page. You'll need two wedges for the assembly.
