Now that the ends and side pieces have been cut to length, we'll mark the shape of the curves on the ends of the toolbox. To mark these curves, you'll need a compass and will mark the curves into any shape that suits your taste.

Keep in mind that at the center line of each end piece, the height will be 8-inches, whereas the two ends will be 4-inches in height. The curves you fashion should transition smoothly between these two points, as displayed in the free woodworking plans you downloaded in the first step.
