After the plywood has been ripped and the main clamping block has been attached, the next step of this woodworking project is to attach two additional support blocks that will be also be used to clamp the jig to the band saw.

Cut two short sections of 1x2 and place one on each side of the bottom of the plywood between the main clamping block (that was attached in the previous step) and the end of the plywood closest to the clamping block. These clamping blocks will help stabilize the jig when it is in use.
