From Chris Baylor Hardwood Bread TrayMake a Hardwood Bread Tray ![]() (c) 2006 Chris Baylor licensed to About.com, Inc. Hardwood Bread Tray In these free woodworking plans, we build a very unique and useful project for the kitchen, a hardwood bread tray. The unique part about these bread tray plans is that the bottom of the tray is slatted. When you cut bread on the tray, the crumbs fall through to the counter below, so when you are finished cutting, you simply carry the tray to the dinner table and the crumbs are left behind! This is a fun woodworking project to build, one that will impress all of your dinner guests.
