As you can see from the image above, the project was a success. While the Rockwell Blade Runner cut the circle rather easily, the up-and-down jigsaw motion of the blade was less than ideal when compared to the smooth, consistent cutting action of my band saw. Additionally, because of the relatively small table size, the Rockwell Blade Runner probably won't be very useful for cutting large circles such as table tops. Even so, I had to deem the idea a success.
