The Bottom Line
There's a lot to like about the Bosch ROS20VSK Random Orbit Sander. The 2.5-amp variable speed (7,500-12,000 RPM) motor gives a great finish, and the micro filter does a fine job of picking up fine sawdust. The sander can also be connected to a dust collection vacuum system.
The ROS20VSK seems quieter than many comparable random orbit sanders, plus the amount of vibration passed on to the operator is surprisingly low. The only major drawback is that the warranty is one year (as opposed to 3 or 5 years on some other brands).
That being said, the Bosch ROS20VSK appears to be a quality tool at a decent price point.

- Has a comfortable, soft hand grip that isn't so large as to be uncomfortable for smaller hands
- Seems to be a bit quieter than comparable models

- Micro filter dust canister lid can be a little difficult to open for cleaning
