Let's face facts. A quality table saw may be the most expensive power tool you'll purchase for your woodshop, but in most cases, it is also the most important. Does a beginning woodworker need a quality table saw to get started?
Not necessarily. In many cases, you can get by with a decent circular saw, a straight-edge, a pair of small clamps and a Circular Saw Measuring Jig. The jig is easy to make and quick to use.
