When working on a woodworking project, one of the woodworking accessories that I always keep handy is a quick-change drill drive set that fits into my cordless drill. The set has a bit housing that mounts into the chuck of the drill, plus a dual-ended insert that fits into the housing. One end of the insert holds an interchangeable driver bit, so I can install a Phillips, square, flathead or even Torx bit into the end of the driver and drive a wide variety of screws. On the other end of this insert is a pilot drill bit with a countersink.
So, with this one accessory, you can drill a pilot hole and countersink, then flip the insert over and drive the screw through the hole. Learn more about Using a Quick-Change Drill Drive Set in this woodworking tip.
