If you use air-powered pneumatic tools such as finish nailers, brad nailers, narrow-crown staplers (or if you're a building contractor, framing nailers), you'll need a good air compressor to drive these tools. However, because air compressors are somewhat "out of sight, out of mind", they're easy to take for granted.
Like any woodworking tool, you need exercise proper care for your air compressor to keep it in working order. Fortunately, air compressors don't require much maintenance, but if you neglect yours, you may have a problem when you need your compressor. Learn to Care For Your Air Compressor, so it will be ready to use with all of your pneumatic tools.
