Gorilla Glue Epoxy Review

Tuesday June 23, 2009
Gorilla Glue Epoxy Epoxies have come a long way in recent years. The new Gorilla Glue Epoxy is a great way to use an epoxy when you need extra strength for a woodworking project.

With a simple, two-tube syringe-style container system, a five-minute setup time and weight-bearing strength in 24 hours, Gorilla Glue Epoxy is perfect for woodworking projects where you may need to glue uneven or rough surfaces. It fills gaps and is Low-VOC and non-toxic after it cures.

Learn the benefits and drawbacks of using this glue in your woodworking plans in this About.com Woodworking Gorilla Glue Epoxy Review.

If this isn’t any better than the wood glue, it’s a waste of money. I’ve use 2 bottles of the other, and it didn’t have the strength of Tite-Bond or Elmers’ either one. I used it repairing guitars, and on two that I used it to glue the necks to the body, I was able to pull the joints apart with arm strength, following directions to the letter. I’m not that strong-I know either of the others will break wood before the glue joint seperates. Just my personal observations. BennyB
