The Winners are In!
Friday August 8, 2008
Looking for a little woodworking inspiration?
The winning entries in the LumberJocks Woodworking Awards - Summer 2008 edition of the contest are in, and are there ever some impressive entries. There were two categories: the first, called "One Man's Junk" called for entries using recycled materials. The winning entry is an amazing billiard table built primarily from old railings at a hospital. The second category, "Serve it Up With Class" is for serving trays. Some amazing inlays in this category.
Ironically, the winning woodworker in the serving tray class, placed third in the recycled-materials class, and frankly, I'm not sure which entry impressed me more. All in all, these were projects gave me some fantastic ideas. Check out the winning entries on the LumberJocks website.
