Ideas for Storing Mechanical Fasteners

Tuesday June 3, 2008
When I was a kid, I remember always complaining whenever dinner consisted of leftovers. I'm not sure why - sometimes it was better the second time around.

When a woodworking project requires mechanical fasteners, it's easy to end up with leftover nails, tacks, screws, etc. There's no reason to throw them away, as they'll very likely come in handy down the line. The question is, what is the best way to store the extra fasteners?

In Ideas for Storing Mechanical Fasteners, we discuss a number of choices for organizing the leftover fasteners. Perhaps one of these systems will work for you!
