Build a Bathroom Sink Cabinet

Monday April 16, 2007
In this installment of our free woodworking plans, we take you step-by-step through building a bathroom vanity cabinet. This cabinet is a bit larger than a basic bathroom sink cabinet, but it has a large dovetailed drawer beneath the main open section of the cabinet, and will accommodate a 36" x 24" sink and countertop.

This was a fun and surprisingly easy project to build, and is quite simple to modify to almost any size of bathroom vanity countertop. It comes with an eight-page set of free woodworking plans that you can download, including detailed drawings and a bill of materials for everything you need to build your own bathroom sink cabinet.

I read somewhere about a new material called Paperstone. A composite material that could apparently be used for kitchen work tops. I was wondering if anyone had heard of this and if it would be suitable for a bathroom cabinet top.
