Build a Computer Monitor Riser

Saturday December 30, 2006
Are you one of those people who is tired of looking down at your computer monitor? Perhaps you've tried putting a box, a few computer manuals or a stack of phone books under the monitor to raise it up to your eye level?

Well, if you're one of those people, we've got a much better solution! Build a hardwood computer monitor riser. This beautiful unit, made from maple, oak or any other hardwood, will raise the level of one or two monitors over five inches in height, and includes two dovetailed drawers big enough to hold magazines, stacks of paper, or whatever you need.

This free set of computer monitor riser plans comes complete with a measured drawing and bill of materials, and will walk you step-by-step through the process of building this spectacular woodworking project. It's a ton of fun to build, and works a LOT better than a stack of outdated phone books!
